The International Foundation Year is a one-year undergraduate pathway programme. It designed to boost your English language and academic skills to the required level for entry to the first year of your degree.

The International Year One prepares students for entry into the second year of an undergraduate degree. Equivalent to the first year of your degree, this programme enables you to complete your undergraduate degree in the standard three years. You will improve your academic and English language skills in a supportive environment.

In Scotland, the International Year Two is equivalent to the second year of your undergraduate degree, the International Year Two allows you to complete your degree at a Scottish university in three years, if you have already achieved a higher level of academic achievement in your home country. Your time at the International Study Centre will be used to build upon your academic, study and English language skills before progressing to university.
